Cantaetion announces today, March 2, 2020, that it is changing its name to Raccorde. The new name better reflects that we keep encountering people who have a hard time with the "ae" sound including ourselves, because we mispronounce it around 30% of the time.
The new name is easier to pronounce and better relects our mission. Raccorde comes from the French raccorder, which means to join or link together. It's a little homage to our very close neighbors to the north that evokes the idea of linking things together, which is the kind of thing our work does. Neat!
That's #DC3333, which will form the basis of our new color palette. Longtime Cantaetion/Raccorde followers will know that we're pretty bad at remembering our color palette on our own.
