The task: automate a complex process.
A group of creators approached us in 2017 with a big problem. They used Patreon, a popular membership platform, and they wanted to thank the hundreds of people who paid every month to support their projects.
For them, the way they did this was to manually copy the names of their Patreon members from the website and paste them into Adobe After Effects. Was there a way, they wondered, that we could automate that process for them?
And so came Patronizer, an automation tool for Patreon. Rather than just use it for the handful of creators who approached us, we worked with them to make it available to the community through Patreon itself. In the first six months it was available, more Patreon users used Patronizer than any other Patreon-connecting app.
